Customs
Updated 1 hour ago
When sending parcels internationally, the destination country’s customs authority may apply import duties or taxes before delivery. These fees must be paid by the recipient for the parcel to be released.
If the recipient refuses to pay the customs charges, the parcel will not be delivered and may be returned to the sender or, in some cases, disposed of by customs.
NI Parcels is not responsible for any parcels delayed or disposed of due to refusal to pay or provide information to customs. Claims for compensation will not be available in these instances.
